The FDA just approved a new treatment for advanced prostate cancer that uses the body's own immune system to fight the disease. Unfortunately, the treatment will only help prolong the life of a person who is terminally ill with prostate cancer. It offers an alternative to chemotherapy, which has many negative side effects.
